Far Out: Roseane Barr Interviews Start Loving

Filed under: politics, whatever — Tags: , , — edge of the sandbox @ 2:46 pm

I don’t think this woman gets enough media attention, via What’s Up with That?

And if that’s not entertaining enough, did you know that Ms. Barr is not only the Green Party Presidential candidate, she also wants to be the Prime Minister of Israel.  Both?  Why so greedy?  Her plans for Israel:

  • “As Prime Minister of Israel I will introduce a bill into the Knesset that will simply pay the Arabs not to shoot at the Jews.”
  • “Just ten of the Jewish billionaires on this earth have more than enough to transform the occupied territories into heaven. We can put the ‘pal’ back in Palestinian.”
  • “Any Hamas or Zionist type who tries to interfere with the labor unions and grab the money will be marched to the guillotines and subsequently beheaded. And isn’t that easier and more productive than some endless, bloody conflict? So sayeth the gospel of common sense. Happy Mother’s Day.”

Monsieur Robespierre, meet Herr Hitler.

  1. Back when I was living in Washington D.C. there was a local show on very late night… like after midnight on Saturdays for DC’s NBC (where Kate Couric used to do the news) and I must have been 14 or 15 I won tickets to this show… the Arch Campbell Show I think it was called… this must have been 1987 maybe. Anyway, I’d never been to the taping of a show. Rosanne Barr was the main guest.

The point of all this is she was as disgusting them as now!

    • I was mercifully sheltered from that particular part of pop culture until I started hearing about her political exploits. She looks like a wealthy Berkeley type.

  2. “Monsieur Robespierre, meet Herr Hitler.”

There seems to be an awful lot of that going around these days.

  3. She lost me years ago. Sad. Her show was somewhat funny in the beginning but she’s just off the rails. Then again, she’s probably no more batshit insane than anyone else in Hollywood.
